Founder and Managing Director

Steve founded Albion back in 1988, when Albion got its name from the 1st Industrial estate the company worked from in Albion Industrial Estate, Cilfynydd.

Steve has knowledge in all aspects of the company from fitting all types of partitioning. Carpentry and ceilings, to sales, to quoting and pricing and dealing with customers.

Steve enjoys playing golf to a single figure handicap.

Damien Freili

Managing Director

Damien joined the company in 2007 straight from university, initially starting out in administration and dealing with the storage element of the company.

Damien now deals with all financial elements of the company as well as the Storage and Mezzanine Elements.

Helen Weaver

Office Manager / Accounts

Helen joined the company back in 2016 as a bookkeeper but now as well as dealing with all day to day requirements of bookkeeping she also does all purchase ordering and runs the office.

Helen enjoys creating fantastic door wreaths for any occasion in her spare time.

Jade Freili-D’Arcy

Health & Safety Administrator

Jade is Albion’s newest employee joining the company in 2023. Jade deals with all things Health & Safety from RAMS to safety meetings. Jade is IOSH and NEBOSH qualified.

Jade worked in the NHS for 10 years in Theatre and spends most of her spare time looking after and trying to keep up with her son.

Alun Williams & Jason Davies

Site Managers

Alun joined Albion back in 2020. He has nearly 40 years’ experience in running sites ranging from £10k up to several million. Alun has a can-do attitude, and all his projects are always completed on time. Jason has been with Albion for over 30 years as a fitter, as of August 2025 he has been promoted to Site Manager. Jason is skilled in all fit out works.

Steve Thomas

Fitter

Steve has been with Albion for over 30 years he is a multi-skilled tradesman and excel in installing racking and installing partitioning and ceilings.

Craig Chapman & Anthony Groves

Fitters

Craig and Anthony are Albions Newest employees joining the company in 2025. Craig is an experienced tape & jointer and fitter. Anthony specialises in drylining and ceiling fitting.

Neil Edwards

Fitter

Neil has been with Albion for over 10 years, he is a multi-skilled tradesman but excels in installing partitioning, ceilings and all types of carpentry Works.

Tony Miles & Dylan Roblyn

Decorators

Tony and Dylan are Albions decorators and carry out all types of decoration from painting to wall hanging.  Dylan joined us as an apprentice from college and has progressed into a fine decorator thanks to Tony’s tutelage.

Daniel Stanton

Decorator

Daniel is one of Albions newest employee joining the company in 2024. Daniel Is our decorator and carry out all types of decoration from painting to wall hanging.

Tim Owen & Matthew Scannell

Bricklayer

Tim carries out all of Albion’s external works. Tim is a qualified bricklayer but can turn his hand to almost any external work. Mathew is Albion labourer.

Dave Worvell

Transport

Dave keeps Albion moving by getting all materials to and from site. No day is the same for Dave as his days normally change minute to minute depending on what our fitters require on site.
