Albion complete major project at Norgine in Hengoed, South Wales.

Norgine is a European specialist pharmaceutical company, established in 1906.  They provide expertise and ‘know how’ in Europe to develop, manufacture and market products that offer real value to healthcare professionals, payers and patients.

Norgine hengoed building worksNorgine is headquartered in the Netherlands and its global operations are based in Amsterdam and in Harefield, UK. Norgine owns an R&D site in Hengoed, Wales and two manufacturing sites, one in Hengoed, Wales and one in Dreux, France.

Albion working alongside the client’s consultants HL Design (Architects), Hoare Lea (Mechanical and Electrical Consultants) and Lee Wakemans (Cost Consultants) have completed a major refurbishment project to the plants new changing rooms and clean areas.

  • Installing a new 324 sqm two tier Metsec structure to allow for new changing rooms and airlocks

  • Ventilation and air conditioning

  • Electrical installation

  • Demountable partitioning

  • Vinyl flooring

  • Carpentry – new staircase and doors

  • Cubicle systems

  • Suspended ceilings

There was a tight programme of 14 weeks to complete the project and  we are delighted to announce that the project was all completed on time and to budget.
